Tiny lifeline: new stent could buy critical time for babies with heart defects

Summary
This study is testing a small, tube-like device called a stent to keep a specific blood vessel open in babies with severe congenital heart disease. The goal is to safely maintain blood flow until the baby is big enough for more complete heart surgery. Researchers will enroll about 35 infants under 6 months old to see if the stent works well and is safe.
