Tiny stent offers lifeline for babies with failing hearts

Summary
This study is testing a small, tube-like device called a stent to keep a critical blood vessel open in babies born with serious heart defects. The stent is designed to help maintain blood flow to the lungs until the baby is strong enough for more complete surgery. Researchers will check if the device is safe and works well in up to 35 infants under 6 months old.
