Major heart study aims to prevent bleeding and clots in High-Risk stent patients
NCT ID NCT07354828
Summary
This study aims to create better safety guidelines for blood-thinning medications given after heart stent surgery. It will follow 3,500 patients at high risk of bleeding complications for one year to see how well they tolerate the standard two-drug therapy and to test a new risk-scoring tool. The goal is to gather real-world evidence to help doctors personalize treatment and reduce the risks of both dangerous bleeding and future heart attacks.
