Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common drug-coated heart stents works better and is safer for people who have just had a serious heart event. It will involve 2,100 patients who have had a heart attack or unstable angina and need a stent to open a blocked artery. Researchers will compare how often patients have complications like another heart attack, stroke, or dangerous bleeding in the year after getting one of the two stents.
