Can a tiny tube save lives in a heart crisis?
NCT ID NCT05485376
Summary
This study is testing if using a special catheter (a thin tube) to closely monitor heart pressures right away can help patients survive a dangerous condition called cardiogenic shock. It will compare this early, detailed monitoring to the current standard care, which often uses the catheter later or not at all. The main goal is to see if this approach leads to fewer deaths in the hospital.
