Pocket-Sized heart scans come to your local doctor
NCT ID NCT07427303
Summary
This study aims to see if a small, portable ultrasound machine can be used effectively in a general practitioner's office to spot early signs of heart problems. It will involve 300 adults aged 65+ with heart risk factors, or adults showing vague symptoms like shortness of breath or swelling. The main goal is to check if a GP's scan results match those of a heart specialist, potentially creating a faster screening pathway.
