Doctors seek better heart measurements for critically ill
NCT ID NCT06832436
Summary
This study aims to compare two different software programs used to analyze heart scans in patients with septic shock, a life-threatening condition. Researchers will use existing heart scan images from 60 patients to see if the software programs give similar results and how consistent the measurements are between different users. The goal is to help standardize how doctors measure heart function in critically ill patients, which could improve care in the future.
