New scan aims to spot hidden heart damage in thyroid patients
NCT ID NCT07247981
Summary
This study is testing a special, non-invasive heart scan to see if it can detect and measure early scarring in the heart muscle of people with long-term thyroid disease. The goal is to find this damage earlier, when it might be easier to manage. The study will enroll 40 adults with chronic thyroid problems but no other major illnesses.
