Doctors test new genetic heart risk score in routine check-ups
NCT ID NCT05294419
Summary
This study tested a new tool for calculating a person's 10-year risk of heart disease. The tool combined a standard risk score with a genetic score from a blood test. Researchers wanted to see if doctors could easily use this tool during routine health checks for people aged 45-64 and if patients found it helpful.
