Massive heart study aims to predict danger before it strikes
NCT ID NCT04903041
Summary
This large study aims to see if a very sensitive blood test for heart muscle damage (hs-TnI) can better identify people at risk for future heart disease during routine health checkups. It will enroll 300,000 adults in India to create a risk model and track their health outcomes. The goal is to improve early detection and prevention strategies beyond traditional risk factors like cholesterol.
