Could your pregnancy predict your heart health? new study aims to create a Mom-Focused health app

NCT ID NCT07356817

Summary

This study aims to understand how pregnancy complications, lifestyle, and environment affect a young mother's long-term heart health. Researchers will follow 1,800 women 3-6 years after childbirth, collecting health data and lifestyle information. The goal is to develop a simple tool, like a mobile app, to help women and their doctors better predict and manage future heart disease risk, which is often overlooked in female-specific care.
