Doctors track hidden heart rhythms to uncover sleep apnea link
NCT ID NCT04112290
Summary
This Mayo Clinic study aims to learn more about irregular heart rhythms in adults with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition where the heart muscle thickens. Researchers are observing 260 participants using a small implanted heart monitor to track rhythm patterns over time. A key focus is understanding if sleep apnea affects the risk of developing these rhythm problems.
