New Heart-Zapping catheter tested for erratic rhythms
NCT ID NCT07353775
Summary
This study is testing a new circular-shaped catheter that uses pulsed electrical energy to treat a specific type of abnormal heart rhythm called atrial flutter. Doctors will use a small ultrasound camera inside the heart to guide the procedure. The main goal is to see if this new tool can safely and effectively block the faulty electrical pathway causing the flutter.
