Finding meaning after heart attack: new therapy aims to ease emotional pain
NCT ID NCT07262580
Summary
This study is testing whether structured conversations about what gives life meaning can help heart disease patients feel less anxious and depressed during their recovery. About 80 patients and family members in Denmark will try one of three formats: individual sessions, sessions with a relative, or group sessions. Researchers want to see if this approach is practical, acceptable to participants, and helps improve mental well-being and quality of life.
