Massive 10-Year study seeks clues to prevent heart attacks and strokes

NCT ID NCT00741728

Summary

This large observational study follows over 10,000 adults in Paris for at least 10 years to understand how heart rate patterns, blood pressure regulation, and artery health affect cardiovascular disease risk. Participants undergo heart monitoring, ultrasound tests, and provide blood samples, but receive no treatment. Researchers aim to identify early warning signs that could help predict and prevent heart attacks, strokes, and sudden cardiac death.
