Summary
This study is testing if using a temporary mechanical heart pump during a complex artery-opening procedure is safer for patients with weak hearts. The pump is inserted to help the heart function while doctors place a stent to clear a major blockage. Researchers want to see if this support leads to fewer serious complications like shock or death compared to doing the procedure without the pump.
