Heart surgery study aims to validate safer pressure monitoring

NCT ID NCT07163052

Summary

This study aims to see if a less invasive way to measure pressure in the heart is as accurate as the current, more invasive gold standard method. It will involve 136 adults undergoing elective heart surgery. Researchers will compare the two measurement techniques under different conditions during surgery to provide better guidance for doctors.
