First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special heart scan (CCTA) can help doctors find hidden heart artery plaque in prostate cancer patients who are on or about to start hormone therapy. About 100 participants will either get the scan or standard care. The goal is to see if the scan leads to better use of medicines like statins or aspirin to lower heart attack and stroke risk.
