First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a blood thinner (rivaroxaban) and a cholesterol-lowering drug (atorvastatin) can reduce heart-related risks in adults who had a heart injury after noncardiac surgery. The study includes 50 people aged 45 or older who recently had major surgery and shows signs of heart muscle damage. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical for a larger future trial.
