NCT ID NCT01761422

Summary

This study aims to understand if lupus flares cause hidden inflammation in the heart muscle. Researchers will use special heart scans (MRI) on 40 people with lupus during a flare and again 3 months later to look for signs of swelling. The goal is to learn more about why people with lupus have a higher risk of heart problems.
