New drug aims to tame recurring heart inflammation

NCT ID NCT07288216

Summary

This study is testing a medication called KPL-387 for people with recurrent pericarditis, a painful inflammation around the heart. The main goal is to see if patients can safely switch from their current treatments to KPL-387 alone and stay free of flare-ups. Researchers will follow 80 participants for up to two years to measure how well the drug controls symptoms and improves quality of life.
