Doctors track thousands of heart scans to predict future attacks
NCT ID NCT01110538
Summary
This study created a registry to collect information from about 3,000 patients who received a detailed imaging scan of their heart arteries. The goal was to learn which features seen on these scans might predict future heart problems, like heart attacks or issues with stents. Patients were followed for up to five years to see how their scan results related to their long-term health.
