Can plugging a tiny heart hole stop migraines?
NCT ID NCT07170176
Summary
This study is testing if closing a common, small hole in the heart (called a PFO) can reduce migraine headaches. Researchers will compare migraine symptoms and brain scans in adults with migraines before and after the closure procedure. The goal is to see if this treatment helps and to understand how it might work by improving the brain's natural cleaning system.
