First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving families access to healthy food, online tools, and personal health coaching can improve heart health and encourage lasting lifestyle changes. About 120 families, each with one parent who has a BMI over 30 and a child aged 6 to 11, will be assigned to different support programs. Researchers will track changes in diet, activity, sleep, and motivation over several months to find the most effective and practical combination.
