Seeing is believing: doctors test if heart scan photos motivate moms to stay healthy

NCT ID NCT06798649

Summary

This study is testing whether showing women pictures of plaque in their arteries helps them make healthier choices to prevent high blood pressure after pregnancy. Researchers will compare two groups of women who had difficult pregnancies: one group gets to see detailed images of their heart health, while the other receives standard care. The goal is to see if this visual feedback leads to better lifestyle habits and lower blood pressure one year after giving birth.
