Summary

This study tested whether specially trained community health workers could help Black women who experienced pregnancy complications like preeclampsia. The program aimed to improve blood pressure control after delivery and promote long-term heart health. Researchers worked with 61 participants to see if this community-based support approach was practical and acceptable to patients.
