Summary
This observational study looks at 150 adults with obesity who are already planning weight loss surgery. Researchers will use heart CT scans and ultrasounds before and about 6 months after surgery to see if fat inside the heart muscle decreases and if the heart's ability to relax improves. The goal is to understand if losing weight can directly benefit heart function.
