Registry hunt aims to find heart failure patients missing best treatments
NCT ID NCT07154758
Summary
This study aims to improve care for people with a specific type of heart failure by using a national patient registry to find those who are not receiving the best available medications or device therapies. Researchers will identify 500 patients who may need medication changes, device referrals, or screening for iron deficiency, and compare their outcomes to 500 similar patients who are not actively identified. The goal is to see if this proactive screening approach helps more patients get the treatments known to help them live longer and feel better.
