Pacemaker trial aims to keep heart patients out of hospital

NCT ID NCT07434193

Summary

This study is testing whether implanting a special pacemaker, called Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT), can help patients who develop a specific heart rhythm problem after a minimally invasive aortic valve replacement (TAVI). The goal is to see if this early treatment can improve heart function and reduce the risk of future hospitalizations for heart failure or death. The trial will involve 360 patients across multiple centers.
