New heart failure test put to the test in major study
NCT ID NCT07217431
Summary
This study tested how accurately a new blood test (called BNP) can detect heart failure. Researchers compared the test results from a new lab machine to results from an older, established machine using blood samples from over 1,300 people. The goal was to make sure the new test gives doctors reliable information to help diagnose heart failure.
