Can two simple pills change heart failure outcomes?
NCT ID NCT06694727
Summary
This large Danish study is testing whether two common nutritional supplements—coenzyme Q10 and selenium—can help people with heart failure. About 4,000 participants will take these supplements or placebo pills for 2-3 years to see if they reduce hospital stays or death from heart problems. The study uses Denmark's health registries to identify participants and mail treatments, making it convenient for those involved.
