Researchers probe hidden heart risks in dialysis patients
NCT ID NCT07180888
Summary
This study aims to understand how common and how serious a specific type of heart problem is in people with end-stage kidney disease who receive regular dialysis. It will involve 100 adult patients and will use heart ultrasound scans to look for issues with how the heart relaxes and fills with blood. The goal is to gather information to see if this heart problem is linked to other health factors or details about the dialysis treatment itself.
