Simple Finger-Prick test could spot hidden heart failure

NCT ID NCT07320677

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple finger-prick blood test can help doctors find heart failure earlier in people who are already taking water pills (loop diuretics) but haven't been diagnosed with the condition. It will compare two approaches: one where patients are offered this screening test, and another where they receive their usual care. The goal is to see if the screening leads to more people getting a proper diagnosis and treatment within a year.
