NCT ID NCT05986695

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested whether gentle reminders sent to doctors could increase the number of veterans with heart failure who receive two types of lifesaving medications. Researchers compared three different reminder strategies against no reminder at all. The goal was to see if these simple nudges could close a gap in care where only one-third of eligible patients get the recommended drugs.
