First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests if a medication called sodium zirconium cyclosilicate can help people with heart failure stay on higher doses of a key drug (MRA) that controls their condition. About 110 participants in Sweden will first receive the study drug openly, then be randomly assigned to continue it or a placebo for 6 months. The goal is to see if this approach improves disease management without needing lifelong additional treatments.
