Smart heart devices alert doctors before crises
NCT ID NCT05761249
Summary
This study observed how doctors use a special alert system called HeartInsight during routine care for heart failure patients. The system monitors data from implanted heart devices and warns doctors about potential worsening of heart failure. Researchers tracked about 150 alerts to see how doctors responded and whether this helped reduce hospital visits for 100 patients with specific implanted devices.
