Sticky sensor tracks heart recovery from home
NCT ID NCT06243029
Summary
This study tested a wearable heart monitor patch to see if it could reliably track recovery in patients recently hospitalized for sudden, severe heart failure. About 54 participants wore the patch at home for a few days right after leaving the hospital and again 6-8 weeks later. The goal was to gather information to help design better future drug trials, not to test a new treatment.
