Skin sensor aims to predict heart failure crises before they happen

NCT ID NCT07345533

Summary

This study is testing a skin-based sensor device to collect detailed heart data from 70 hospitalized patients with heart failure. The goal is to build a database of heart signals to see how they change when a patient's condition worsens or improves. Researchers hope this data will help train a future system to detect early warning signs of a heart failure crisis, allowing for earlier treatment and potentially preventing hospitalizations.
