NCT ID NCT07083011
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study is testing a special PET scan that uses a tracer called 68Ga-FAPI to look at heart muscle changes in people with a type of heart failure called HFpEF (heart failure with preserved ejection fraction). About 35 adults aged 30 and older with shortness of breath and a BMI of 30 or higher will get the scan. The goal is to see if this imaging method can detect scarring or inflammation in the heart, which may help doctors better understand and diagnose this condition.
