Can your smartwatch fix your heart? home rehab trial aims to keep patients out of hospitals
NCT ID NCT07023536
Summary
This study is testing if a home-based heart rehabilitation program using wearable devices and video calls is as good as, or better than, traditional in-hospital rehab for adults with chronic heart failure. Researchers will compare the fitness, heart function, and quality of life of about 205 patients who choose either the home program or standard care over 24 weeks. The goal is to see if remote monitoring can help patients improve their health and maintain gains from the comfort of home.
