Turning heart health into a game: can a smartphone app improve daily habits?
NCT ID NCT05056129
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone game can help adults with heart failure stick to important daily health routines. 200 participants aged 45+ who've been hospitalized for heart failure in the past year will use sensors to track their weight and activity. Half will play a game that rewards them for healthy behaviors, while the other half will just use the sensors and receive educational materials.
