Can a new type of strength training help a weakened heart?
NCT ID NCT06032780
Summary
This study is testing if a specific type of strength training, called eccentric resistance training, can improve heart function and fitness in people with stable chronic heart failure. Researchers will compare it to a standard combination of strength and aerobic exercise. The goal is to see which exercise approach is better at helping patients walk farther, feel better, and improve their heart's pumping ability.
