First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at how the heart failure medication Entresto (LCZ696) lowers blood pressure and affects sodium excretion. 46 stable heart failure patients participated in a crossover trial where they received either a placebo or a drug called aprepitant alongside Entresto. The goal was to understand the body's response to the medication, not to test a new treatment.
