First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study aimed to see if an extended-release version of the water pill torsemide helps heart failure patients get rid of salt better than the standard version, especially after a salty lunch. Participants would have taken each pill for a week and collected urine samples. However, the study was withdrawn before any volunteers were enrolled.
