Heart pill combo tested to fix leaky valves
NCT ID NCT07379788
Summary
This study looks back at medical records to see if adding a diabetes drug (SGLT2 inhibitor) to a standard heart failure medication (ARNI) works better than the standard medication alone. It focuses on patients with weakened hearts and a leaky mitral valve. The goal is to see which treatment better improves the heart's shape and pumping ability.
