Could a quick pee test help tame heart failure?

NCT ID NCT07369856

Summary

This study is testing if a simple, at-visit urine test can help doctors more precisely adjust the dose of water pills (diuretics) for people with chronic heart failure. The goal is to see if using the test to guide treatment leads to better symptom control and fewer hospital visits compared to the usual standard of care. About 300 participants will be assigned to different groups to test if the urine-guided approach helps safely increase or decrease medication.
