Scientists use 3D heart maps to Fine-Tune Life-Saving pacemakers
NCT ID NCT04662970
Summary
This study tests whether special heart imaging software can help doctors find the best settings for pacemakers used in heart failure patients. Researchers will create 3D computer models of patients' hearts using MRI scans to measure electrical activity. They'll test 16 different device settings in 25 patients to see which makes the heart work most efficiently.
