Research investigates why heart failure looks different in black patients
NCT ID NCT05224557
Summary
This study aims to understand if there are racial differences in heart failure biomarkers between African American and Caucasian patients. Researchers will compare blood test results from 400 patients newly diagnosed with heart failure to see if biomarker levels differ between racial groups. The findings could help doctors better diagnose and understand heart failure severity in different populations.
