Summary
This study looks at whether standard blood tests for heart failure show different results in African American patients compared to Caucasian patients. Researchers will review medical records of 400 adults newly diagnosed with heart failure. The goal is to see if current tests miss or underestimate heart failure severity in African Americans, which could lead to better, fairer care.
