Pacemaker vs pills: heart study tests which works better

Summary
This study compares two approaches for people with heart failure and chronic irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation). One group will receive optimized medication to control heart rate, while the other will undergo a procedure to implant a special pacemaker and disable a small part of the heart's electrical system. Researchers aim to see which approach better improves survival, reduces hospital visits, and enhances quality of life for 600 participants.
